SEBRING, Fl — It appears as if the 57th runnijng of the Mobil 1 12 hours of Sebring presented by Fresh from Florida is going to be dogfight between the Peugeot and Audi teams that will go right down to the last lap. The two teams have traded the lead back and forth all day and in the end it difference may well be which team can pit their respective car the quickest.

There are 60 minutes left in the race and at 1:45 per lap that means in the vicinty of 35 laps that will determine who will be the winner. While the Peugeot is currently in second place to start the 11th hours, 52 seconds behind the No 2. Audi with Allan McNish handling the driving dutities, it does appears to gaining ground with each lap — clipping about two seconds a lap off the Audi lead.

In the LMP2 class The Acura Lowes team seems to have sewn up the class with a virtual start to finish victory. Of course anything can happen in the last hour but drivers Adrian Fernandez and Luis Diaz had nearly a 150 lap lead on their nearest competitor. Their race has been flawless and if they take checkered it will be a well deserved victory.
