The 2008 12 Hours of Sebring will see the first head-to-head competition between Audi and Peugeot since last year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans, although neither team is willing to make too much of the spring bash in Florida.
Audi has won the last eight years at Sebring and Peugeot, which did not race there last season, was second to the Audi at Le Mans last year. The French Lion is fast but the Audi has the Peugeot covered in terms of experience of drivers and race technology.
Of course regardless of the result at Sebring, the real race for glory will be 90 days later at Circuit de la Sarthe.
