At half way it is a Peugeot, Audi battle

 BRASELTON, GA — With 197 laps completed of the approximate 394 lap race for the 2010 Petite Le Mans brought to you by Mazda2, It is the #08 Peugeot 908 HDi FAP currently driven by Pedro Lamy is in the lead, with the #7 Audi R15 Plus being driven by Tom Kristensen in Second place. The #07 Peugeot 908 HDi FAP driven by Marc Gene is currently running third.

Audi and Peugeot are mixing it up in the Petite LeMans at Road Atlanta

 

The #08 Peugeot and #7 Audi have battled for the lead, with the Peugeot taking the lead by opting to just pit for Fuel, while the R15 took fuel and tires during a full course caution caused by the #5 Radical SR9/IES. The race pace has been blistering, with only five full course cautions so far during the race. With only 18 seconds covering the top three cars at this writing, the battle will continue into the dusk. 

As the sun drops low in the sky and night begins to envolope the twisty track drivers must overcome yet another challenge in their quest for victory.
