Peugeot 908 TDi #9

Saturday morning warm up at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and Sabastian Bourdais in a Peugeot 908  turned the quickest lap at 3:27:228. The fastest Audi R18 TDI was car #2 driven by Frenchman Benoit Treluyer who turned a 3:28:626. The Audi R18s don’t seem to have the overall top speed on the Circuit de la Sarthe, when compared to the Peugeot 908s, but are hoping that superior reliability will be the key for success at Le Mans.

The 79th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, is scheduled to start at 3:00 PM, the weather is currently holding out although it is chilly and 60 degrees F , rain is not expected until sometime Sunday.
