Both Audi and Peugeot make their final pit stops at the same time. Audi had enough time to fill the R18 with enough fuel for the rest of the race, and get a new set of tires. Peugeot chose to only take on fuel, and not tires, trying to pass the Audi in the pit lane. The Audi R18 was able to get out of their pit box in front of the Peugeot 908 and should be able to set their own pace the rest of the race. Currently there is only eight seconds that separate the first position Audi R18 and the second position Peugeot 908.
